Marshaun Bostic, 5’9, G, 2021, Gateway STEM
A productive player on both sides of the floor, Bostic is a nice junior guard player who has good size, build and the strength to make plays through contact. Bostic can make plays as a ball handling guard who can play off the ball, score after the catch and play inside some as well. She is averaging 18 points per game while shooting 58 percent from the field. She gets to the free throw line a lot and connect some and also averages 6.9 rebounds and over five steals per game.
Mallory Ronshausen, 5’8, G, 2021, Cor Jesu
Ronshausen is a good player for Cor Jesu who can score well and plays good defense as well. She has good vision and is a good passer in half court settings. She’s averaging 15.7 yards per game through six games. She’s struggled at times to find her rhythm but she continues to look to score. She finds a lot of success from the free throw line, hitting 23-27 for 85 percent.
Grace Winkelmann, 5’9, G, 2021, Hermann
Another player from Hermann who is showing solid skills at the right time. Winkelmann is a good guard can handle the ball well and looks to score. She has good speed and is scrappy on both sides of the ball. She’s averaging 10 points, 3 assists, two rebounds and one steal per game through seven games.
Kate Hillyer, 5’9, G, 2021, Eureka
The leader scorer for Eureka with 15 points per game, Hillyer is a solid overall player who brings size, speed and overall skill to the floor. She has good handles and is constantly looking to jump passing lanes and pick off passes. Hillyer is a flexible player and can adjust her shot and make defenders miss all while finishing around the basket. She is also shooting 100 percent from the free throw line (14-14). Hillyer is a strong option for Eureka.
Jaliyah Green, 5’10, G/F, 2021, Holt
An impressive player on both sides of the floor who commands the floor and can take over a game. She’s a good team leader and is capable of making plays on both sides and scoring well in a variety of ways. Green is averaging 15.2 points per game while shooting 42 percent from the field. She is terrific from distance, hitting 40 percent of her 3-point attempts. She’s also electric from the free throw line, hitting 25-27 for 92.6 percent. Also the team’s leading rebounder who makes a terrific impact on the defensive side of the floor, averaging seven per game.
