2020, 5’9, SG, South Shore (NY), Kateri Poole (Ohio State Commit) – Katari was that confident player on the floor and she played like she was the business and everyone knew it. She shot the ball with confidence and even when she was missing, she still thought every shot was going to go in. She knocked down three three-pointer in a row in about 2 of the games I watched her play. They ended up winning the Division Championship and she performed well for her team.
2021, 5’8, SG, East HS (UT), Leilani Falatea – Leilani was smooth with her game, she was crafty off the dribble and also a very smart IQ player on the floor. She could get to the rim at will and she used her size pretty good to fend off defenders when she drove to the basket or pulled up for a shot. We really liked her three-point shooting, she had nice form and follow thru, which gave her a nice stroke from the outside with a smooth touch.
2022, 5’7, SG, Dominguez HS (CA), Rae’lani Frost – Rae’lani is a true shooter, she will knock down six three-pointer down in a row on you before you know it. She had three games in Vegas like this and it was amazing, she got into a rhythm and it was no looking back from there for Rae-lani.
2022, 5’11. SG. Vanden HS (CA), Jiana Creswell – Jiana was smooth with her three-point shooting in all of the games she played in the tournament. She kept shooting no matter what the situation was, she would pull up for threes in transition and also, her team always found her for open shots, it was very nice to watch. She has a nice stroke and really has a nice follow thru to give the ball a nice flow into the rim.
