The 2019-2020 Girls High School Basketball season is upon us. After watching many of these young ladies play on the spring/summer travel circuits, in summer leagues and fall leagues, it's time to see who really brings it this high school season, in the 757. With that in mind, it’s time to unveil my preseason top-10 rankings.

1. Princess Anne (VA Beach)

Led by the most talented backcourt in the state, 2020 Temple signee, Jasha Clinton and ESPN Hoopgurlz #30, Aziaha James. The reigning Class 5 state champion looks to have the talent, to win a 7th consecutive VA State Championship. Senior returners Kendra Johnson and Tiyanna James are joined by McKenna Harris, transfer Michelle Ojo and highly rated freshman Zakiya Stephenson

2. Lake Taylor (Norfolk)

The Lady Titans seem poised for a fifth straight VA State Title in 2020. Led by Senior Jordon Poole, and returning from injury, 2021 ESPN Hoopgurlz #55, Ja’Naiya Quinerly. Expect a breakout season from Junior. Ashanti Barnes, guards Desire Short and De’Aisjah Somerville are very capable scorers

3. Norview (Norfolk)

The talented Lady Pilots are hoping for a deep run into the state tournament. Leading the way is 2020 UNC-Wilmington signee, Janiya
