Ellie Toney (2022, G/F, Corunna)
Toney is young, versatile and full of talent. She had a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds.
Sarah Soraghan (2021, G, Royal Oak)
Her 18 points in a win over Plymouth aren’t necessarily “eye popping”, but her overall play to start the season is.
Whitney Sollom (2020, PF, Hartland)
It’s just Whitney Sollom being Whitney Sollom. 11 points and 21 rebounds in a 37-26 victory over Saginaw Heritage.
Alecsis Smith (2022, PF, Bay City Central)
Her stats last night, and last week, are staggering. She had 23 points and 21 rebounds in a win over Saginaw. Smith absolutely controls the paint.
Athena Samson (2020, PF, Troy)
This young lady needs to be on a college basketball team next season. She had 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 49-38 loss to Berkley.
Rachel Sample (2021, G, Birmingham Groves)
Sample felt it from 3 point range, hitting 6 on the game. She finished with 20 points and a win over Oxford.
Quinn Robak (2022, G, Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes)
Yes, another Robak for opposing coaches to deal with. She had 35 points in a 56-49 loss to Flint Hamady.
Mya Petticord (2022, G, Arbor Prep)
Apparently I could just write a book about Petticord. She’s been lights out, leading her team to a 3-0 start. She was at it again last night, dropping 21 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks in a 61-53 win over Airport.
Reeya Patel (2020, CG, Ann Arbor Huron)
She was dominant last night, controlling the pace and feel of the game from the perimeter. Patel led her team to a tough win over Wayne Memorial with 25 points.
Aaliyah Nye (2020, Wing, East Lansing)
Nye eclipsed the 1000 career point mark last night. She ended the night with 22 points and a win over Williamston.
Carly McCrum (2021, G, Bay City John Glenn)
I’m telling you, watch out for McCrum this season. In a 56-22 win over Gladwin, she totaled 25 points and 7 rebounds.
Mya Hiram (2021, F, Onsted)
Hiram might average a ddouble-double this season. She notched 15 points and 13 rebounds in a victory over Manchester.
Taylor Heaton (2020, G, Clarkston)
Schools looking for a well rounded guard, don’t look past Heaton. She had 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.
Ciara Hardy (2021, PG, Romulus)
Hardy is on the verge of a big junior season. She had 31 points 31 points and 6 assists in a 59-35 win over Thurston.
Brooke Daniels (G, L’Anse Creuse North)
Daniels led her squad to a 74-41 win against Marine City. She dropped 24 points and had 6 assists.
Kenzie Bowers (2021, G, Kent City)
Bowers is a top notch talent in Michigan. She had 23 points in a 66-27 victory against Grant.
Alison Bishop (2020, F, Allegan)
Bishop was outstanding in a 49-20 win over Parchment. She finished with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.
