Three names you need to know ahead of Friday’s season opener verse Randallstown; Charia Roberts, Kristin Sterling, Amayah Frazier. These three will play a major role in the Panthers success this season.
Forward 6’0 | Charia Roberts | 2020
Charia Roberts, PGH Ranking #23Charia Roberts puts up great numbers game after game. Currently averaging 10.8 ppg and 7.8 rebounds per game, Charia was an essential part of Pikesville’s championship win last year. When Roberts and teammate Tyra Robinson are locked in, they dominate the floor and the game seems to run through them. Roberts simply brings it to you every night, is very slick in the paint and is going to play hard both ends of the court.
Guard 5’8 | Kristin Sterling | 2021
Kristin Sterling, PGH Ranking #17Pikesville is filled with powerhouses and Kristin Sterling is no different. Currently averaging 12.8 ppg and 6.8 rebounds a game, Kristen is one of the best scorers on this team. Kristin was one of the leaders on this team last year but her role will be heightened due to the departure of Guard Keante Lewis (St. Francis Academy). In August, Kristin verbally committed to North Carolina A&T.
Guard 5’6 | Amayah Frazier | 2022
Amayah Frazier, PGH Ranking #47Sophomore Amayah Frazier will be out this season with a torn ACL but that won’t stop Pikesville from playing hard in her honor. Frazier had a few blockbuster plays in big moments her freshman year with the Panthers including a game winning steal in a big win verse John Carrol. Frazier made due with the minutes she did receive averaging 3.8 assist per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, and 2.1 steals per game last season.
