2020 Top 15 would make NCAA run

Deja even made her first Tip Sheet as a 4th grader and she joins Brooke McCarty and my own daughter, Sydney Colson as the youngest I’ve tagged D1Locks, both are WNBA players I might add, so I got to thinking after looking at my Top 15, this could truly be a squad that not only could make a run and win several major conferences but actually make a Final 4 run and who knows and I’m not talking immediately but pretty darn quick
Think about it, Hannah Gusters (Baylor) starting at the post, Kelly and Sarah Andrews (Baylor) in the backcourt with Jordyn Merritt (Florida) and Deyona Gaston (Mississippi State) joining Gusters in the frontcourt and if you haven’t seen these players, with the exception of Gusters, all were called D1Locks in elementary school, Gusters next level potential but as usual I was right and not soon after, that #BCS hashtag was added
That group alone would do damage at the next level with a variety of role players but this next group of 5 can conceivably win some conferences as well. Harmoni Turner (Harvard), Shay Holle (Texas), and Myra Gordon (Alabama), who are you going to double team, forget about it and when you factor in high flying Sahara Jones (Texas A&M) as powerful Aaliyah Morgan (TCU), are you truly grabbing the concept that this group of 10 could not make a run, please but if you’re a novice, you get a pass yet even some experts are truly novices
Maliyah Johnson (Texas A&M) can play multiple positions, Asha Thompson (Old Dominion) and Aja Holmes (TCU) have both taken their games to yet another level as well as Elyssa Coleman (Texas) and the icing on the cake would be Jewel Spear (Wake Forset) who could play the combo but keep in mind I was somewhat of a genius at spotting many of these players at a young age, in fact with the exception of Morgan, Holle, and Jones, I saw the others way before they even entered high school but back to the opening paragraph, this talented squad could definitely create some problems, maybe just knock on the door as freshmen, but trust me, soon after, they’d kick that door in, I softened it up to pay homage to Bum Phillips, yeah I know, GOOGLE him
Whoa Deja Kelly and Hannah Gusters were named to 2020 McDonald’s All American Team
