The Apex Friendship Lady Patriots are on quite a tear in the 2019-20 season with a 16-1 record and 7-1 record in South Wake Athletic Conference play. Their lone loss of the season is to conference foe Holly Springs, a team they'll face again on the road on Feb. 7. Since losing to Holly Springs back on Dec. 10, Apex Friendship has won 11 straight victories, including on Friday night against Fuquay-Varina, where I was able to get my first glimpse of their squad.

Indya Nivar - 2022 - Guard/Wing

Indya Nivar is an emerging prospect that's already turned heads this season with her play. She put up 42 points in the Lady Patriot's narrow 71-70 victory over Garner Magnet on Jan. 17. Nivar is a young prospect but she's already got an experienced set of skills that allow her to slice through the defense and get to the rim. She can play off the ball just as well, getting rebounds and finishing through contact in the lane. Her outside shot is also coming along, she made three 3-pointers against the Lady Bengals.
