This was a big game for a number of reasons as the playoffs are just around the corner. North Shore was in a tie with Beaumont United for the top spot in the district and Laporte trying to hold on to that final playoff spot in R-3 6A District 21 and to say there were thrills on numerous occasions would definitely be an understatement but I did leave with a few thoughts

Laporte's upperclassmen 

Koko Wooley

Koko Wooley, Amber Pace, and Harbe Felicien are all seniors, Tu'Myra Mount is a junior and the fire, as well as the, never give up mindset is part of the reason they stayed within striking distance. Wooley falls into that, "I knew her before she was born" category as I watched her older sister as well as her cousin for years. Wooley understands how to score yet her talents will be taken to Texas A&M on a softball scholarship, let me drop a Gig Em!
