Olivia Sobczak | 6’0 F | Senior | Oconomowoc
Sobczak is a versatile all around player for Oconomowoc. Sobczak is averaging 19.3 points per game for team and is leading the Classic Eight conference in scoring. She dropped a season-high 35 points at Waukesha West. Standing at 6 feet tall she is as crafty as they come inside. Sobczak can dribble the ball up the court and run the offense. She can shoot from beyond the arc and finish with a savvy move at the basket. Sobczak is a beast on offense boards and a post move specialist. Sobczak is a true powerhouse inside with a hard working attitude that shows each time she plays. Sobczak has offers from Division II Michigan Tech, University of Mary and Winona State University.
Angie Cera | 5’9 G | Senior | Mukwonago
Is Angie Cera the best scorer in Classic Eight conference?
With a true scorers mentality, Cera brings intensity and passion to her Mukwonago squad. She is the clear leader when she is on the floor and sees her open teammates well. Cera has an incredible quick first step that finds her flying by defenders. She uses unique moves inside to score against taller opponents. Averaging 14.7 points per game this season for her team, and dropping 24 points at Waukesha North- Cera is an exciting guard to watch compete. Cera has helped lead her team to multiple successful seasons during her time at Mukwonago. A true workhorse- Cera is resilient on both ends of the floor. She is an in your face defender who will pressure teams the entire game. She has great footwork that finds her forcing multiple turnovers per game. The UW- Milwaukee signee has developed into one of the most solid players in her conference.
Alyssa Nimz | 6’0 F | Junior | Catholic Memorial
Nimz brings the strength inside for her team. She has great court awareness for herself and her teammates and sees a lot of minutes for her squad. A beast on the offense and defense boards- Nimz is averaging 9.2 rebounds per game. She currently leads the Capital Eight conference in rebounds. Adding to those great numbers- Nimz too averages 14 points per game for her squad. With 22 points against Menomonee Falls, Alyssa Nimz showed she can lead her team to a successful season.
Olivia Osborn | 5’6 G | Junior | Waukesha North
Osborn is leading the Capital Eight conference with assists this season. The Waukesha North point guard is averaging nearly 4 assists per game for her team. Addition to being a facilitator on offense and finding her open teammates- Osborn averages 14.2 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per game. She truly does is all for Waukesha North. Dropping 21 points against rival school Waukesha West, Osborn showed she is a player to be watched during her junior campaign.
Maddie Walsh | 6’2 F | Senior | Arrowhead
Walsh is currently averaging 14 points her game for Arrowhead. Walsh has an incredible combination of speed and height that makes her the player she is. With the speed of a point guard and the strength of a post, Walsh is one of the conferences hardest players to defend. She has incredible footwork and uses her length on defense to cause multiple blocked shots or turnovers a game. Walsh is committed to the University of Alabama Birmingham.
Grace Grocholski | 5’10 F | Freshman | Kettle Moraine
The freshman is one of the top scorers in the Capital Eight conference. She uses her height and strength inside to shoot over smaller defenders. Grocholski plays with a confidence that is almost unheard of for a freshman. She poise and mental tenacity makes her a fun player to watch. Grocholski scored 27 points in her teams win over Muskego and 20 points against a tough Milwaukee Lutheran squad. She is currently averaging 16.6 points per game for Kettle Moraine and is continuing to prove why she is one of the top players in the Class of 2023.
