In the BCSL, there are plenty of shooters that can do that. Here are some of the top shooters in the conference so far this season.
Maniya Custis (2020) | Trenton Catholic
Custis may not only be one of the top shooters, but the best player in the conference. She is scoring 12 points per game this season and has six games with multiple three-point makes this season. Custis is the type of player that is difficult to guard because she does so much well. This of course includes shooting from deep.
Kyla Treadwell (2020) | Holy Cross Prep
Treadwell has a chance to lead the conference in three-point makes when the season is complete. She has knocked down 23 so far this season and put up a good chunk of those in one game. In a win over Millville, Treadwell was unguardable. She scored 25 points and knocked down seven three’s in the game.
Deja Briggs (2022) | Westampton Tech
It seems as though Briggs is knocking down multiple three’s every time she steps on the floor. She is a player with range once she steps off the bus. She has six multi-three games in her sophomore campaign. Westampton Tech has a sharpshooter for years to come. Briggs will only grow and mature as a player and that includes from beyond the arc.
Jaylyn James (2021) | Burlington Township
James has been one of the top players for Burlington Township this season. She is scoring 14.5 points per game while leading her team to a 7-3 start. She has scored in double-figures in eight of the first 10 games. In those games, she is getting it done from deep. This has made defenders come out and guard and she can also drive past them using her speed. James is an intriguing prospect in the conference.
Kayla Caban (2020) | Cinnaminson
Cinnaminson is 8-1 this season and is expected to be one of the top teams in the conference. Caban is a reason why and she has been hot of late. Caban has scored in double-figures in her last three games. This includes a 14 point performance in a win over Pemberton. She knocked down four triples in that game. She has established herself as one of the best shooters in the BCSL.
Ciera Cox (2020) | STEM Civics
It has not been a good start to the season for STEM Civics but Cox has been doing what she does best. That is shoot the basketball. Cox has knocked down six three’s over her last four games. Aside from deep, Cox is one of the top foul shooters in the conference.
