Trenton Catholic’s Giana Boulden is known for her smooth outside shot, but as she showed in a win against Franklin, she’s not scared to do the dirty work. Boulden made several defensive plays and attacked the basket to help TCA close out the win.
Bayonne’s Makoye Diawara has her team off to a red-hot start thanks to her rugged play in the paint. The highlight of her season was a 26-point, 22-rebound effort in an overtime win against Westfield.
St. Thomas Acquinas’ Kelsey Ransom does a little bit of everything. She is a superior athlete and plays all five positions for her squad.
With Diamond Miller gone, Keona Schenck is now the go-to player for Franklin. She is being counted on to take – and make – the big shots for the Warriors.
Rumson-Fair Haven’s Paige Slaven, a transfer from Donovan Catholic, has been turning heads with her playmaking ability. Her 17 points were the difference recently in a win against Gill St. Bernard’s.
