Number 10
East Grand Rapids
Jillian Brown leads a talented cast of disciplined shooters. I really like the look of this squad and think they will be especially dangerous come late March.
Number 9
Birmingham Marian
Birmingham Marian has proven to be an excellent team. Shannon Kennedy is setting the pace for an experienced and well rounded lineup.
Number 8
Farmington Hills Mercy
Players like Julia Bishop are getting the job done for Farmington Hills Mercy. Don’t cap their potential this season because they’re playing like their on a mission.
Number 7
Detroit Renaissance
We have them ranked a bit higher than most, but there is just too much talent. Players like Shannon Wheeler and Kailee Davis make for a team with a very high ceiling.
Number 6
Hudsonville
Hudsonville is a squad that uses a team effort. Everyone contributes, from big nights by Emma Costen to stellar performances by Alaina Diaz.
Number 5
Macomb Dakota
Macomb Dakota is undefeated thus far and are sending a message to the state. With Cameron Grant leading the way they have the look of a top 5 team.
Number 4
Flint Carman-Ainsworth
This team has the look of a special squad. There’s a lot of shot makers and playmakers, led by Aaliyah McQueen.
Number 3
East Lansing
East Lansing suffered a setback against powerhouse Detroit Edison, but let’s not forget that they are loaded with experienced talent like Aaliyah Nye and Sanaya Gregory.
Number 2
Hartland
Hartland is deep with players that have a variety of skill sets. Whitney Sollom is the premier post player in Michigan and Nikki Dompierre is having a stellar season on the perimeter.
Number 1
Detroit Edison
Just to be clear, Detroit Edison is a top 5 national power. It’s been a long time since they lost, and they’ll occupy the top spot until they do. Detroit Edison has superstars like Gabby Elliott, Damiya Hagemann, Daija Tyson, and Shaulana Wagner.
