The McDonald’s All-American Game, which will be played April 1 in Houston, features the top 24 high school girls in the country.
Watson, who is committed to Oregon, is averaging 18.5 points and 9.3 rebounds for Mainland, which is off to a 9-3 start to the season. The five-star forward is currently ranked No. 15 in the country by ESPN.
The 6-foot-4 standout, who has scored almost 1,800 points in her career, was the only New Jersey player selected. She is the 19th player from the Garden State to ever be selected for the prestigious game.
