Campbell Jewell, 5-8, Preble Shawnee
Stormed onto the Dayton area scene with a solid first season with the Arrows. Jewell is a quick and athletic guard who is not afraid to launch the three, shooting 36% which is just above the standard benchmark for efficiency from behind the arc. She also can create and get to the line to score. Solid passer, aggressive on defense causing and creating steals. Sits sixth in the SWBL in scoring as a freshman.
Morgan Hunt Morgan Hunt 5'10" | PF Tri Village | 2023 State OH , 5-11, Tri Village
The other half of the fab freshman duo at Tri Village, as you also ready about Rylee Sagester Rylee Sagester 5'6" | CG Tri Village | 2023 State OH yesterday. Hunt is a kid who runs the floor extremely well, can finish on the move and does a nice job in a half court offense. Solid defender, can rebound effectively and has good handles. I expect her to have a big summer and improve for next season.
Riley Hodson, 5-8, Valley View
Long and athletic, Riley is part of a very talented squad led by a great junior class at Valley View. Not flashy just steady for the Spartans, as she has contributed in nearly every game this season. Her biggest output this season has been three consecutive eight point games around Christmas. Can score from the outside, has range and will finish shots. Solid defender.
Sophie Huffman, 5-10, Wilmington
Making strides quickly as a freshman and has become one of the leaders for the Hurricane. Long and athletic guard, moves well without the ball. Good handles, can score in multiple ways. Sophie has good range, finishes at the rim and will hit the midrange. Good defender, can pressure the ball. Excited to see her game grow as she progresses through high school.
Brookklynn Miltenberger, 5-7, Monroe
Incredible athlete with a quick first step and gets to the rim, taking contact and can finish. Handles the ball well, can score and get to the line. Great court vision. Working to extend range gives 100% on both sides of the ball, great vertical on the boards.
Jackie Fye, 5-6, Brookville
Point guard who continues to improve with her game. Brookville is struggling this year but Fye and a couple of other underclassmen continue to make strides to turn the program around. Jackie handles the ball well and has a good outside shot. Can put the ball on the floor and create on offense. Just needs to continue to gain more confidence.
