Michigan was well represented last year by Rickea Jackson Rickea Jackson 6'2" | SF Detroit Edison | 2019 State MI from Detroit Edison. She played 22 minutes and was the co-leading scorer for her team with 11 points. Jackson also chipped in by adding 7 rebounds.
The 43rd annual McDonald’s All-American game will take place on April 1 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. There are 6 Michigan players that received nominations.
Jasmine Clerkley Jasmine Clerkley 5'11" | PF Okemos | 2020 State MI (PF, Okemos)
Clerkley is one of, if not the best, rebounders in Michigan. She attacks the glass, using her strength to gain position. Clerkley has developed a nice mid range game and uses good footwork on both ends. She will be playing at Bowling Green next season.
Gabrielle Elliott Gabrielle Elliott 5'11" | SF Detroit Edison | 2020 State MI (Wing, Detroit Edison)
Elliott is one of the top ranked prospects in the country. She’s a smooth 3 level scorer on the wing. Elliott is excellent in the open floor and has great body control when finishing. She is headed to Clemson after thishigh school season is done.
Aaliyah McQueen Aaliyah McQueen 5'9" | PF Flint Carman-Ainsworth | 2020 State MI (G, Flint Carman-Ainsworth)
McQueen is a big time player and prospect. She’s a threat to score from anywhere on the court and is as consistent as they come. McQueen is a solid leader that has her Flint Carman-Ainsworth squad ready for a post season run. She is signed with Illinois.
Aryana Naylor Aryana Naylor 6'1" | C Flint Hamady | 2020 State MI (F/C, Flint Hamady)
Naylor is an impressive player. She’s long and bouncy, helping her protect the rim. Naylor is a top notch rebounder on both ends. She’s always a threat for a put back bucket.
Whitney Sollom Whitney Sollom 6'4" | PF Hartland | 2020 State MI (PF, Hartland)
Sollom has built a legend in Hartland. She’s 6’4″, but has versatile offensive attack that includes fluid post moves and a jumper with range to the arc. Sollom is active on the glass and a near shoe in for a double-double every night. She will be playing at the University of Michigan next season.
Elise Stuck Elise Stuck 6'0" | CG Charlevoix | 2020 State MI (G, Charlevoix)
Stuck is out this season with an injury, but we all remember how amazing of a player she is. Stuck is a dynamic and explosive shooter and scorer. She can be seen in Ann Arbor next year playing for the University of Michigan.
