It was a back and forth battle, but Pinnacle ended up coming out on top 58-54. Despite her team dropping a close one, Anderson had an outstanding performance on the court.
Offensively, Anderson had an explosive game for Mountain Pointe. She had 19 points in the game along with a handful of rebounds and assists. Anderson also had very fluid ball handling and passing skills, as her team had found themselves a nice pace.
Defensively, she was aggressive and on the attack the entire time she was in the game. She would play in-your-face, physical defense and try to force either a turnover or a steal. She was successful with her game plan, and it showed as she was the team leader in the game.
This season, Anderson is one of the leading scorers for Mountain Pointe. Anderson will very likely be the future of this team if she continues playing how she’s been playing this year. Mix that along with some physical growth and progression in the offseason and it makes for the perfect set up for success for Anderson. By this time next year, it would not be crazy to see her average points per game be somewhere around 18.
