2020 5-7 SG Sydney Thomas – North Cobb
Sharpshooter Sydney Thomas poured in 23 points off 7 made three-pointers in a 61-29 win over Kennesaw Mountain. Thomas also collected 4 rebounds and 1 steal. Aside from her range, Thomas is a quality defender and provides the Warriors with a nice all-around floor game. She is a good option for D-II programs.
2020 5-7 PG Ansley Hall – North Oconee
The Titans suffered their fourth-straight loss, dropping them to 12-8 and 0-4 in Region 8. Tennessee Tech-signee Ansley Hall was superb in their 61-58 loss to No. 10 Stephens County however, pouring in 35 points.
2020 5-5 G Destinee Ellison – Washington County
No. 9 Washington County moved to 14-2 after crushing East Laurens 58-34. Destinee Ellison stuffed the stat sheet with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
2022 5-7 F A’ryn Jackson – Sequoyah
The powerful lefty muscled her way to 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 steals in Sequoyah romp of South Cobb 82-53. Jackson has a nose for the ball and an aggressiveness inside that allows her to play bigger than her height.
2021 5-7 PG Kayla McPherson – Madison County
The reigning Gatorade Player of the Year for Georgia dumped in 29 points for Madison County in a 63-41 win over St. Pius X. The Red Raiders are playing better basketball after a slow start to the year, now winning four of their last five and moving into a tie atop the Region 8-AAAA standings at 3-1.
2022 6-2 F Lazaria Spearman – Dacula
No. 4 Dacula remained perfect in Region 8-AAAAAA play, beating Winder-Barrow 69-40 behind Lazaria Spearman‘s 22 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists.
