Ally Landau (2020) | Golda Och
Landau might have the most impressive numbers in the state to begin the season. Golda Och is 5-2 on the season and showing no signs of slowing down. Landau is averaging 30.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 9.1 steals per game. Yes, you read that right. In a win over Barringer last week, Landau finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, and eight steals. She followed that up with 39 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists, and 11 steals against Orange. Landau has four triple-doubles this season and there are plenty more to come. She is the favorite to lead the state in that category.
Latanya Berry (2020) | Sterling
The Manhattan bound senior scored her 1,000th point last week. Berry has scored 10 or more points in four of the last six games. Sterling is 4-0 in those games. Good things happen when Berry is putting the ball in the basket. She capped off a strong week with a 20 point game in a win over Haddon Heights. Berry is averaging 13.5 points per game this season.
Tamia Warner (2021) | Ewing
Ewing is riding a three game win streak behind Warner and her 13.5 points per game. That scoring average went up after a 34 point performance in a win over West Windsor-Plainsboro North. She also scored 16 points in a win over Hopewell Valley.
Brianna Sliwinski (2020) | East Brunswick
Sliwinski had one of the best games you will see this season. Unfortunately, it came in a loss. East Brunswick fell 41-38 to Old Bridge but they had no answer for Sliwinski. She scored 31 of her team’s 38 points. In the second half, East Brunswick had 22 points and Sliwinski scored every one of them. She followed up that performance with an 18 point game in a win over Princeton.
Makoye Diawara (2020) | Bayonne
Bayonne has had a strong start to their season led by Diawara. They picked up a top 20 win over University where their star finished with 33 points and 19 rebounds. Diawara notched her 11th consecutive double-double in the win. She has been dominating all season long on both sides of the ball. Diawara has put her name in the conversation as one of the top players in the state.
Kristina Donza (2020) | Jackson
Donza has been a scoring machine this season. The senior has finished with 22 or more points in every game this year. Last week, Donza turned in back-to-back 26 points performances. She also added 23 points in a win over Central Regional. Donza led Jackson to a 2-1 record last week. She is scoring 25 points per game this season and if this continues, Jackson will be a tough out all season long.
Ciara Conover (2021) | Bordentown
Conover led Bordentown to two wins last week. They finished the week 2-1 to improve their record. Conover was stellar in all three games but she stood out in Bordentown’s win over Riverside. In a 56-34 win, Conover finished with a season-high 36 points. She will continue to be a threat on the offensive end as the season progresses.
