Whether it is an offensive rebound creating second chance points, or defensive rebounds taking those opportunities away from the opposing team. Check out these players that absolutely dominates the paint and the board below.
- Kaity Brown – Oakland MillsAs a Freshmen on the varsity squad, Brown is making a name herself and treating this year as a breakout season. So far this season, Brown has totaled 45 rebounds, averaging 11.3 RPG. Additionally, out of those 45 rebounds, 27 have came from defensive rebounds, which shows emphasis on taking away second chance points from her opposition.
- Mykenzy Peck – Northern
So far this season, Peck has been averaging 10 RPG, which is very respectable. What can be more respected about this stat is that Peck has totaled 60 overall rebounds so far this season – 26 on the offensive end and 34 on the defensive end. For this Northern squad, Peck has found her niche in dominating the glass this season.
- Neah Henry – Forest ParkHenry has emerged as the leader of this Forest Park this season, leading the team in both scoring (17.3 PPG) and rebounding. Thus far this season, Henry has been averaging 10.3 RPG, which is based on 62 total boards, with 32 coming from defensive rebounds. Expect Henry to continue this trend and lead Forest Park to what should be a promising season.
- Angel Reese – Saint Frances AcademyUp to this point in the season, Reese has been having her way in every matchup, and this includes recording rebounds. Reese is currently averaging 10.4 RPG, totaling 52 overall rebounds, and 41 coming from defensive rebounds! It is clear that Reese refuses to allow her opponents to prosper on both ends of the court.
