I saw Fort Mill(SC) play Clover(SC) in a 5a conference battle in Fort Mill, South Carolina! Clover is one of the best teams in the state and proved it by winning the contest 52-32. Clover is a loaded team. They have talented players that play very well together. It’s apparent each player understands their role which allows them to compete as a complete team. Clover is now 17-1 and looking to make a run at the state title. Here are 5 prospects I evaluated from the Clover team.

Aylesha Wade

Wade is a junior guard for Clover. She can flat-out play. What stood out the most is that she can see the floor very well. She runs the break and gets the ball to the open person in place to score. You can tell her IQ is high as she makes good decisions and great reads. Wade can shoot the basketball as she has a nice stand-alone jumper. She is quick enough with the ball to create offense. The team goes as she goes. I was really impressed with her ability to manage the game. Wade is the ring leader as she connects the dots meaning she makes
