Remedy Morrison (2021) hustled around the offensive boards for two late LH putbacks, and Lilly Krogman (2023) had a steady defensive effort. Avery Broughton(2023), Rachel Gerlach (2022) & Raven Barse (2021) did the hard work inside to earn the win.
STM managed to overcome a 24-14 difference in called fouls, to win 54-52. Haleigh Timmer scored 26 and Kaci Cooper hit 9-points. Delaney Klosterman and Skyler Sullivan demonstrated again that ball skill is the first fundamental to master – everything else follows. Defense won for STM. JC Pulse flashed great speed, agility, and determination – OMG!

Kalla Bertram Finishes Rim RunBridgewater/Emery revived their season with their Hanson Classic win 66-48 over previously undefeated Langford Area. Langford seemed stunned by the tempo or speed-of-the-game from the Huskies, who won Tuesday in OT as well over Class A Kimball/White Lake. Julia Weber (2022) and Kerrigan Schultz (2021) lead the Huskies in scoring, energy, and ball skills.
Faulkton Area Made A Sandwich Cameryn Logan Positioning For ReboundEthan Rustlers (now 9-0) spanked the Faulkton Area Trojans, convincingly, 54-30, going into Thursday’s dust-up with Corsica/Stickey (now 11-0). All three Bartscher’s played well, altho 2022 Hannah had better stats. Cameryn Logan (2021) policed the lane quite efficiently. Maddie Miller was PGH’s Hustle Award winner for the tournament.
Parkston suprised Hamlin 44-35 with defensive athleticism, keeping Hamlin’s boards to a minimum, Sydney Wickersham (2020) made multiple “saves” to keep the Trojan bandwagon going. 2023 Emma Yost and 2022 Allison Ziebart keyed the inside efforts. Hamlin never had a long run of TO’s + points. The Chargers returned to form Tuesday, thumping the defending ‘B’ champs at DeSmet 45-37.
