Madalynn Nalley – Assumption – 6’1″ Center – Senior
Madalynn led Assumption to a 60-54 double overtime victory over Bardstown. The Campbellsville University commit led her team with 14 points on 6 of 8 from the field and a team high 13 rebounds.
Alyssa Lindsey and Monica Lindsey – Central Hardin – Guards – Sophomores
This duo led host Central Hardin to an impressive 48-46 win over a talented Franklin County team. Alyssa led the Lady Bruins with 17 points including 3 of 6 from behind the arc. She also grabbed a team high 7 rebounds, but it was her steal with 10 seconds left in the game that sealed the win. Monica added 14 points and 4 rebounds. Central Hardin held Franklin County to 17 second half points for a team that normally averages 64 points per game.
Ellie Taylor and Rickeia Cormier – Elizabethtown – Seniors
Ellie, a 5’11” guard led Etown with 19 points. She was not only able to get to the free throw line, but she was able to connect from the charity stripe as well. The Northern Kentucky University commit hit 11 of 14 free throws. She also had 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Rickeia Cormier was a presence down low for Etown. The senior post had 17 points on 6 of 10 shooting and pulled down a team high 7 rebounds. Etown defeated Henderson County 63-48.
Kaylyn Smith – Campbellsville – Guard – Sophomore
Kaylyn came into the weekend averaged 8 points and 3 rebounds. The sophomore guard busted out for a team high 17 points and added 5 rebounds. Campbellsville beat Ballard 41-31
