What made Buffalo tough to watch was the lack of production out of their seniors who had 3 of their total of 19 points. Granted they only have two seniors, but that number should always be at a higher percentage.
Mara Braun Mara Braun 5'11" | CG Wayzata | 2022 State #21 Nation MN Is a 2022 Guard to Watch
At 5’11, Mara Braun Mara Braun 5'11" | CG Wayzata | 2022 State #21 Nation MN (#4, 2022) fits in well with the size of the Wayzata Trojans. She is a very long guard, that has good bounce and has excellent on-ball defense. Her potential is thru the roof and is certainly a high scholarship level player in the Class of 2022.
The Underclassmen Stood Out for Buffalo
Emma Bjerke (2021) and Sydney Husfeldt (2021) tallied 12 of the Bison’s 19 total points. Although the Bison lost by 53 points those two players have to be looked at as the young risers for the Bison roster.

(#16 in 2020, Nebraska commit) was just too much for the smaller Bison to handle last night. She had 20 points, a ton of rebounds and was mobile around the basket and even went outside for a few shots. I don’t think I’ve watched a more sturdy forward this season in 6’4

Gets My Game MVP
What impressed me most about Jenna Johnson Jenna Johnson 6'2" | PF Wayzata | 2021 State #52 Nation MN (#2, 2021. Utah Commit) was her elusiveness to get to the basket. She made tough layups look like clockwork and the scoreboard of her and Annika Stewart Annika Stewart 6'3" | PF Wayzata | 2020 State MN combined would have had enough to beat Buffalo last night. With her 22 points, she gets my game MVP from last night in Buffalo.
Holy Speed: Lauren Feddema Lauren Feddema 5'9" | CG Buffalo | 2022 State MN
Although the performance from the Bison wasn’t up to par last night, I did get to see Lauren Feddema Lauren Feddema 5'9" | CG Buffalo | 2022 State MN (#82, 2022) come off the bench for the Bison. She has to be one of the fastest players I’ve seen on a dribble-drive this season. It is her acceleration with the basketball that makes her fun to watch. Feddema leads the Bison this season in scoring at 11.9 ppg which certainly could have been used more last night.
Buffalo (6-7) will get another home game this Saturday as they will take on another tough Lake Conference test when St. Michael-Albertville (8-3) comes to Buffalo at 5:45 on Friday night.
Wayzata (13-1) will head back to Plymouth to take on another top 5 program from the Lake Conference, Eden Prairie (6-5) who is coming off a big win against Minnetonka yesterday.
