2021
Marshaun Bostic 5’9″ Gateway STEM: A talented guard who is one of the fastest guards in the state when it comes to taking the basketball end to end. It is rather breathtaking to watch. She had an excellent all-around game in the semifinals against Westminster with 14 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals. She was more of a facilitator in the first half as she got her teammates involved. In the second half, she took over the game offensively as she scored 10 of her 14 points.
Mackenzie Duff 6’0″ Nerinx Hall: An All-State soccer player who has already committed to Clemson, Duff is also an excellent basketball player. The versatile combo forward had 20 points and nine rebounds in the victory over Oakville in the semifinals. She is a potent scorer inside with her shooting touch ability to score with both hands, but she is also a dangerous performer in the open court with her athleticism.
2022
Brooke Highmark 5’7″ Westminster: A talented combo guard who is averaging 17 points a game. She is comfortable at either guard position with her ability to handle and pass the ball as a facilitator or as a bucket-getter with the ability to get her own shot. She can move well without the ball and knock down 3-pointers coming off screens or she can score on tough takes to the basket against contact.
Carlie Vick 6’2″ Westminster: A talented young post player who can impact the game at both ends of the court. She has good hands to catch the ball and she displayed a nice shooting touch, especially over the left shoulder and off the backboard. She is also a very good shot blocker who uses her length and timing around the basket to get swats. She also does a nice job of keeping her blocks in play to start fast breaks on the other tend.
Mya Minor 5’6″ Oakville: A speedy point guard who provides good quickness at both ends of the floor for the Tigers. She uses her speed as an asset on the defensive end where he can shoot into the passing lanes for steals or keep pressure on the ball. She was at her best offensively when she is penetrating into the lane or getting out into transition.
Reilly Brophy 5’6″ Westminster: A lefty combo guard who has an impressive shot from 3-point range. She can move well without the basketball, but when she catches, she is ready to shoot it and she can shoot it from deep. She also spends a lot of time at point guard where she is a solid ball handler and passer.
