Arkansas Valley-Chisholm Trail
Derby, Campus, Hutchinson, Maize, Newton, Salina Central, Salina South
Olivia Antonowich, G, 2023, Newton
A nice multiple sport athlete who has good speed, size and the ability to use her strength in a variety of ways. She’s a consistent player who is always going to be playing hard, getting up the floor and looking to contest shots or score when she has an open look. An unselfish player.
Maryn Archer, G, 2023, Derby
The freshman standout for Derby who shows leadership and a strong skill set. She’s an active defender, a good rebounder and can get up the floor and make plays in transition. Archer makes plays with the ball in her hands and is also someone who can play off the ball and score after the catch from a distance and inside. Archer is averaging 14.1 points, 2.3 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. She’s shooting 46 percent from the field, 66 percent from the free throw line and 40 percent from 3-point range.
Addy Brown, 6’2, G/F, 2023, Derby
Another standout freshmen for Derby who has great size and good mobility. Brown continues Derby’s tradition of active post players as she looks to make plays on both ends of the floor both around the basket and several feet outside. She just knows how to make plays and is a promising scorer, rebounder and defender. Brown is shooting 50 percent from the field and 56 percent from the free throw line. Brown is averaging 10 points, 2.2 assists, 6 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
Mykayla Cunningham, 5’9, G/F, 2023, Salina Central
An impactful athlete who doesn’t let her age hold her back as a varsity performer. She has a solid skillset and she shows strength, overall toughness and the game that allows her to get touches and score in a variety of ways around the glass. She can create some with the ball and is a strong slasher and good finisher inside the arc. She’s averaging six points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. She’s shooting 44 percent from the floor 52 percent from the free throw line, hitting, 25-48.
Acacia Weis, G, 2023, Salina South
A nice lead guard who has good handles and the ability to get around opponents. Weis has good vision for her size and looks to facilitate and include those around her whether she’s passing inside to a forward or back out for a 3-point shot. She’s averaging 6.4 points, 3.6 assists, four rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. She looks to score from 3-point range and inside and can also connect from the free throw line.
