Arkansas Valley-Chisholm Trail
Derby, Campus, Hutchinson, Maize, Newton, Salina Central, Salina South
Tatum Boettjer, 6’2, F/C, 2022, Derby
Biettjer is another tall and long prospect from Derby who can contribute as a rebounder and scoring option inside the paint. She is improving her speed and transition play and is good at staying in the moment and forcing herself to make plays off the ball. Biettjer is averaging 5.2 points while shooting 49 percent from the field and 4.9 rebounds per game. She can also contest shots well and can come away with the ball in certain situations.
Hayley Loewen, F, 2022, Newton
A sophomore player for Newton who adds some size and strength to the floor. She hustles and gets touches through her movement and willingness to play hard and physical. Loewen can block shots and sells contact well and can get to the free throw line.
Chaliscia Samilton, 5’11, C, 2022, Salina Central
Another young post player for Central who stands out with her two-way play. She’s a strong playmaker around the glass given her eye for rebounds and can finish tough shots and absorb contact well. She is shooting 45 percent from the field and 51 percent from the free throw line, hitting 30-59. Samilton is a nice defensive rebounder as well and she also looks to contest shots and kick off transition plays. She’s averaging 6.9 points, 5.8 rebounds per game.
Hampton Williams, 5’10, F, 2022, Salina Central
A nice forward and interesting prospec who shows physicality, good awareness and footwork. Williams is an active forward who plays well in transition and has a post up game which allows her to get a lot of touches.. She can handle herself in the low and high post and even sees time as a catch-and-shoot player from deep at times. Williams is shooting 42 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line, hitting 46-61. She’s averaging 9.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.4 steals and one block per game.
Harlie Wilson, 5’4, F, 2022, Hutchinson
A good defensive player who has good speed and the ability to force turnovers. Wilson shows the ability to create her own shot and can attack the basket and get inside and score or connect from range. A defensive player who shows a lot of improvement and potential as a leader and overall playmaking guard.
