These teams we have watched multiple times this year and we are impressed with what type of floor game they play, the coaching they received and how the kids play hard at every waking moment on the floor. Here we go with our favorites in this division that we think can either win a title or make it to the finals.
Saint Anthony HS: comes in with an overall (18-10) record and a (5-3) record in the Del Rey League; they are led by Seniors Drew Sharp (Academy of the Arts), Kira Smith, Hannah Bailey, Maya Montez and Emily Perez. St. Anthony is fun to watch, they have three to four shooter that can light it up, which makes them dangerous in this division, they can make shots and lots of them.
Flintridge Prep HS: comes in with an overall (22-4) record and a (12-0) record in the Prep League; they are led by Senior Kaitlyn Chen and Freshman Ashley Chea. This team is scary for any team at all times, they shoot the three pointer well and are very crafty with the guard play on the floor.
Orangewood Academy HS: comes in with an overall (21-6) record and a (6-1) record in the San Joaquin League; they are led by Seniors Sydney Gandy and Elodie Lalotte. This team is very efficient with the elite shooting of Gandy and the the dominance in the post with Lalotte, they will go deep cause of their experience on the floor.
Marlborough HS: comes in with an overall (14-6) record and a (4-3) record in the Mission League; they are led by Seniors Parker Montgomery and Erin Yoshitake. Marlborough is the dark-horse of the division and can compete with any team and have the talent to match up with most in the division.
