Today we take a look at five players who used the big stage at Holmdel High School as their coming out party.
Justine Pissott, Red Bank Catholic: Although RBC lost to Rutgers Prep, Pissott did her part to keep her team close. She showed why she is regarded as the top shooter in the state, cashing in on five 3-pointers on the way to a game-high 20 points.
Giana Boulden, Trenton Catholic: The West Virginia commit was feeling it early, leading the TCA offense in the first half in the win against Manchester. She connected on three triples and was clutch from the line during a game-sealing run in the fourth quarter en route to a team-high 19 points.
Christina Whitehead, St. John Vianney: The junior had her full game on display, scoring 17 points, including four 3-pointers, grabbing eight rebounds and handing out three assists as the Lancers rolled past Albertus Magnus (NY).
Kaylie Favours, Rutgers Prep: Her team fell behind by double-digits early, but Favours shook loose for 14 of her team-high 17 points after intermission to help Prep rally for the victory. The junior sharpshooter knocked down five 3-pointers and added three rebounds and two steals.
Erin McNulty, Mount St. Mary: Her team fell short in their upset bid, but McNulty was great once again, draining five 3-pointers. The transfer from Union Catholic scored 22 points and also made an eye-popping 10 steals.
