Eastern Kansas League (EKL)
Bishop Miege, Blue Valley, Blue Valley North, Blue Valley Northwest, Blue Valley Southwest, Blue Valley West, Mill Valley, St. James, St. Thomas Aquinas.
CC Forcellini, G, 2020, Blue Valley West
A quick guard who can handle the ball and create plays for her teammates. Forcellini handles the ball well when opposing teams are looking to trap and she can keep the dribble live and her head up. She’s also capable of knocking down long shots both deep mid-range jumpers in 3-pointers but can also get to the basket and score off the glass.
Molly Hatnett, 5’9, G, 2020, Aquinas
The Northwest Missouri State commit has a way of coming through in the clutch. Harnett is a strong overall player who can handle the ball, create for her teammates and always has the ability to knock down a shot. She has good size at 5’9 and the flexibility to handle defensive pressure both on the perimeter and in the mid-range area. Hartnett has a solid rhythm and a quick first step. She brings vision, toughness as a defender and productive play overall.
Mallory Kruger, 5’8, G, 2020, Blue Valley North
Kruger can make an impact on the floor as a defender and 3-point scorer, looking to connect from the wing spot or the top of the key. She has great handles for a scoring guard, someone who can create her own shot or score quickly after the catch. She has a strong frame at 5’8 and good balance and footwork. A leader both vocally and by example who has toughness, in game smarts and speed.
Karina Rivera, G, 2020, Bishop Miege
Another piece for Bishop Miege who brings toughness, versatility and leadership to the floor. Rivera. She can score well from distance and has great varsity speed and physicality which sets her apart and makes her a potential thread on both ends of the floor. A quick player who can make things happen with her hands by keeping them up and pestering opponents with the ball.
Ashton Verhulst, SG, 2020, Bishop Miege
Verhulst is a solid overall player who brings good length and creativity to the floor. Can connect well from the corner and wing 3-point spot. Verhulst is the scoring guard who takes her job seriously and is constantly looking for ways to add points. She runs the baseline and comes up screens well and is always ready to catch and shoot. She has good form and balance and handles her responsibilities as a guard.
