With the district playoffs fast approaching, these players have been key contributors to their teams this year. We start with the White division which includes North Kansas City, Oak Park, Raytown, William Chrisman, Belton, Fort Osage, and Ruskin.
TOP PERFORMERS
- Paige Allen – Oak Park- Sr. PG – Committed to Texas A&M Corpus Christi – The standout point guard for the Lady Northmen leads the metro in scoring at 27 ppg. Her size and overall basketball skills are just too much to handle. Paige does not force things and is an outstanding rebounder from the guard spot at 8.5 rebs per game.
- Ja’Mya Powell – Smith – North Kansas City – Jr. PG – Multiple college offers – Ja’Mya is a quick and complete point guard. She competes at a high level on defense and can score at all three levels; at the rim, mid-range, and from the three-point line. She is 4th in scoring at 21.5ppg and also contributes 5 rebs, 4stls, and 3 ast per game.
- Kyndal Lewis – Belton – Jr. SF – Multiple college offers – Kyndal is a hybrid type of player. She can handle it like a guard and scores through contact in the post. Kyndal is an elite level player in the post with her solid footwork and her guard-like quickness. Almost averaging a double-double with 17.5 ppg & 9.6 rebs.
- Kiyley Flowers – Fort Osage – Jr. CG – Kiyley is a very athletic combo guard. She plays mainly point guard for her team but she scores the ball very well. She is long and uses her length to excel on the defensive end. Averaging 16.9 ppg, 5.4 reb, 4 ast, and almost 5 stls, Kiyley does it all for her team.
- Giavanna Moore – William Chrisman – Jr. SG – Gia is a long and athletic guard. Her size is a problem to deal with on defense. She has range on her jump shot from three and she is very crafty off the bounce getting to the basket. At 13 ppg, 3 rebs, and shooting 90% from the free-throw line, Gia has made some noise for herself.
