Hailee Ford, Freshman, Concordia Prep
Hailee is a versatile 5’11” power forward who made a name for herself in the C conference this season. She is a good finisher in the paint and is also a threat from the three point line. This is the type of player that single handedly get her team to championship Sunday.
Clair Neff, Senior, Maryvale
Clair is headed to the ACC next season as she has signed with Clemson. She is a sharp shooting six foot wing that is capable of going off for 25 or better at any time. St. Paul’s will have their hands full with her.
Tsion Smith, Sophomore, Mt. Carmel
This is the year Mt. Carmel is supposed to contend for that elusive B conference title. They are no longer looked at as the up and coming underdogs. Tsion is a tough, physical guard that can defend multiple positions and knock down shots from beyond the 3 point arc. She was exposed to heavy competition during her summer competition so I am looking to see if thrives in this playoff atmosphere.
Laurie Satchell, Sophomore, St. Paul’s
St. Paul’s is the defending B conference champion and this young lady is a big reason why. She makes winning plays on both ends of the court. Put back baskets, steals, blocks, you name it. She is a tough and smart player and always seems to make crucial plays in key moments.
Jasmine Johnson, Junior, St. Timothy’s
St. Timothy’s has a young core of players that have come up big this season, but they will need a major contribution from Jasmine down the stretch. Look for her to use her size and length to crash the boards and get to the free throw line. She also runs the court well so she can put pressure on Mt. Carmel’s bigs in the semi final game.
Audrey Allen, Sophomore, Maryvale
I really like this long, athletic wing with her strong three point range. She has a great feel for the game and knows how to get open. Look for her to score in double digits and come up with some timely plays. Maryvale will need it to advance.
