Karley Motschenbacher turned in a standout performance at the Heart O’ Lakes Showcase in Moorhead last weekend. As a consequence, the Park Christian senior earned Prep Girls Hoops event MVP honors – click here to read that story – but the MSU-Moorhead commit wasn’t the only one who stood out. There were many other fine performances at the 16-team event. These are the showcase All Stars.

FIRST TEAM ALL STARS

Karley Motschenbacher, 5’8 senior guard, Park Christian (MSU-Moorhead)

Karley was at a whole different level on Saturday. Enough said.

Ellie Dague, 5’11 junior guard, Henning

The Henning Hornets have just one loss this season thanks in no small part to Dague, who is a solid Division 1 prospect. Ellie has been outstanding in her comeback season, a journey we profiled a few weeks ago. (You can read that story here.)  On Saturday she scored 28 points, seven above her season average, in a workmanlike performance. She makes it all look so natural, scoring in a variety of ways, facilitating well for others and just being generally excellent.
