And with many teams seemingly playing backloaded schedules, there are going to be numerous opportunities for teams to earn high-quality wins from here on out.
Here were teams that had particularly strong weeks
Langon/Edmore/Munich
The Cardinals won three more games last week, improving to 18-0 before finishing off an undefeated regular season on Monday. It was an impressive run, as LEM earned road wins over a pair of ranked teams and a third win over a Region 6 contender. The Cardinals started off with a 52-46 win over Four Winds/Minnewaukan, getting 17 points from Callie Ronningen and 15 from Morgan Freije. They added another win over a top-five team Friday, beating Grafton/St. Thomas 51-44 and finished the week with a 15-point win over Velva.
LaMoure/Litchville-Marion
The Loboes are peaking at the right time of year, winning eight of their last 10 games on the regular season with losses to two of the five best teams in Class B. LLM picked up an impressive region win last week, blowing out Kidder County, 56-38. Allie Hebl, Kaylynn Siedschlag and Molly Musland all scored in double figures to lead the way. LLM blew out South Border later in the week and finished the regular season at 14-5, earning the No. 2 seed in District 5.
Fargo Shanley
The Deacons took a big step forward in securing the second seed in the EDC last week, winning twice over solid teams. Shanley started the week with an impressive lopsided win over West Fargo Sheyenne, getting 18 points from senior guard Olivia Manuel. The Deacons wrapped up the week with a massive revenge win over Fargo Davies, getting 17 points from Reile Payne, 15 from Morika Hakim and 14 from Manuel. That win puts the Deacons a game up on the Eagles for the No. 2 spot in the league.
Bismarck
The Demons are still in the hunt for a top-four spot in the WDA and getting three wins last week certainly helped. A 73-59 win over Jamestown was the highlight of the week, as the Demons played perhaps their best offensive game of the season. Peyton Gerving led the way with 20 points and eight players recorded multiple assists. Bismarck blew out Williston after that, getting 30 points off turnovers and ended the week with an impressive win over Watford City to move to 12-5 on the season.
