After only getting 2 nominations last week. we saw several more nominees this week, including some first timers. Here’s a look at the nominees for Week 10.

Marissa Austin, Webster County – Austin had 35 points including 7 for 14 from the three point line and added 3 rebounds in a win over Murray then followed that with 32 points and 8 rebounds in a win over Hopkinsville where Marissa made 8/14 from three.

Morgan DeFoor, Scott County – Death, taxes and Morgan DeFoor being nominated for Player of the Week are three certainties in life. This past week, Morgan had 14 points in limited playing time against Sayre, Against Bryan Station, she had 33 points and 2 rebounds, against Russell County she poured in 20 more and then finished a 4-0 week with 19 points in a W over South Laurel.

Kierstyn Ratterman, Bellevue – Ratterman put up 22 points and 4 rebounds against Owen County then followed up with 19 points and 8 rebounds in a win over Dayton.

Macey Blevins, Wayne County – Macey had 24 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 deflections and 9 steals in a win Saturday and reached 2,000 career points.

Sarah Weddington, Lewis County – The freshman had 7 points and 6 rebounds against East Carter, 14 points and 9 rebounds against Fleming County then 13 points and 10 rebounds against Elliott County.

Payton Cronen, Assumption – Cronen had 9 points against Holy Cross, 22 points against PRP and also had 29 in an overtime win against Bullitt East.
