MVP- Aleah James (2021) | Stuart Day: James led the way for Stuart Day in both of their blowout victories in the Prep B Tournament. It began with 11 points in a 73-39 victory over Newark Academy. She added four assists and three steals. In the final game against St. Elizabeth, James scored a game-high 16 points to lead her team to the title.
All-Tournament Team
Laila Fair (2021) | Stuart Day: Fair has been a double-double machine all season long and she was one point away from turning in two more during the tournament. She notched a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Newawrk Academy. In the championship, Fair finished with nine points and 12 rebounds.
Kate Fishbone (2022) | Newark Academy: Fishbone was the catalyst for Newark Academy during their tournament run. She scored 14 points during a thrilling one-point victory over Pennington. Newark Academy then ran into Stuart Day and was over matched. Fishbone held her own scoring 13 of her team’s 39 points.
Quinn Galligan (2021) | St. Elizabeth: Galligan got comfortable early and often during St. Elizabeth’s three games. She scored 14 points in round two against Montclair Kimberley to lead her team to the championship game. Galligan averaged 10 points per game during their tournament run.
Ariel Jenkins (2021) | Stuart Day: At 6’4, Jenkins has been a rebounding superstar. She had 10 or more rebounds in all but one game this season for Stuart Day. In the tournament, she averaged 10 rebounds per game. In the championship, Jenkins finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds. She is a dominant force down low and one that will continue to dominate next season.
