Hodo is a skilled post player. She’s an excellent rebounder on both ends, allowing her to extend possessions and limit her opponents shots on goal. Hodo is an efficient scorer in the paint. She fights for position close to the rim and gets high percentage looks at the bucket. Hodo is a strong post defender. She uses strong legs to maneuver her opponent and walls up on D.
Hodo is constantly working on her game and experiencing big moments as a young player. She’s currently focused on improving her footwork and her basketball IQ. Her best moment this season was using an up-and-under move on a 6’4″ senior. Hodo is looking forward to being a big influence in remaining rivalry games this season.
Nyemah Hodo has next level potential. Obviously her skill set in the paint will intrigue college coaches. Hodo brings more than that to the table though. She’ll provide a team with an athlete that stresses sportsmanship. She is a true team player and supports her squad both on and off the court.
Hodo has goals that she wants to achieve. This season, she wants to improve her stats every game as well as notch a few double-doubles. Hodo plans on taking advantage of having 8 talented seniors on the Ecorse roster as well. She feels like she can learn from them both on and off the court. Hodo wants to be sure to fulfill her potential as a player and graduate from a Division 1 school.
