Taitlynn Afualo, 5’10, F, 2021, Blue Springs
A strong player who plays physical and looks to make an impact on the defensive side of the floor. Afualo has good size at 5’10 and good length which helps her secure rebounds and block shots. She plays hard and looks to get up the floor and score in transition or get back quickly on defense to protect the basket. She is unselfish with the ball and looks to keep the play moving or score quickly around the rim.
Kiyley Flowers Kiyley Flowers 5'7" | CG Fort Osage | 2021 State MO , G/F, 2021, Fort Osage
A terrific two-way standout who is great at applying pressure on the ball. She switches off well and has solid mobility. Flowers is a terrific defensive player who can rip the ball away from opponents and push the tempo and either score or find teammates who are crashing the basket. She has terrific vision and a lot of strength to her passing. She can dribble through contact or weave her way in and out of coverage or simply can step back and knock down a 3-pointer.
Kelsey Morris, 5’10, F, 2021, Raymore-Peculiar
Morris is a strong two-way athlete who can stretch the floor from a distance and block shots as a defender. She has good size at 5’10 and can create problems for opponents in a variety of ways. She brings a lot of hustle and energy to the floor and plays hard and looks to put herself on the line and sacrifice herself to make plays and keep the play alive. An underrated player who can look to make an impact on defense but can also connect and score from three-point range and around the glass.
Clare Scheier, 6’1, C, 2021, St. Michael the Archangel
A good-sized post player who can rebound at a high level and contribute as a scorer. Scheier has great height at 6’1 and shows an ability to block shots and state physical and aggressive at the low post. She has good vision and an eye for boards on the defensive end of the floor. is averaging 8.9 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 5.2 blocks per game.
Riley Strange, 6’0, F, 2021, Knox County
When Strange is healthy and feeling confident on the floor, she’s incredibly difficult to stop as she has terrific size and ability to score both inside and out. She’s listed at 6’0 and brings strength and toughness to the floor that translates to buckets and blocked shots. She can stretch the floor with a three-point range and has some good post moves and handles for a player her size. She is a scoring Target opposing teams have the game plan for and is also terrific at rebounding on both ends of the floor.
