Jada Johnson, 5’9, G, 2020, Shawnee Mission North
A terrific two-way player who has a lot of confidence in herself as a scoring option and rebounder. Averaging around 16 points per game, Johnson shows an ability to impact a game from distance and from inside the arc. She can handle the ball well and shows great speed and athleticism. She’s listed at 5’9 and has great length and an explosive nature which allows her to jump passing lanes, block shots and come away with the ball. Johnson is great at driving inside and uses her frame to find leverage and her speed to give her clear separation on her way to the basket.
Lele Love, 6’1, SF, 2020, Olathe North
The Georgia Tech commit brings a wide array of skills to the floor, showcasing an ability to handle the ball and score in a moments notice. A long and athletic wing-style combo forward who applies great pressure on the perimeter but has the size, frame an overall strength to dominate the boards inside as well. She’s creative with the ball and great at attacking with her dribble. She can get to the paint and finish through contact as she is arguably the most dominant transition player in the state. An elite athlete with a high ceiling and the athleticism and overall play to make a statement on both ends of the floor.
Kierra Prim, 5’7, G/F, 2020, Shawnee Mission West
A talented guard with a nose for the ball and an eye for plays. She gets up the floor in transition and looks to finish plays and get to the free throw line. Prim brings explosive play to the floor as she has strong leaping ability and a wiry and sneaky presence as a defender. Prim’s speed also sets her apart from the competition and her ability to handle transition play and find open teammates for open looks. That said, Prim is a scorer who gains confidence the more she is looking to score. She can connect from three-point range and is great at driving inside and bullying her way to the basket.
Riley Wade, 5’9, G/F, 2020, Olathe Northwest
A player who sees time in a variety of positions given her skills and overall flexibility as a performer. The Colorado Christian University commit brings a toughness to the floor as well as leadership. Wade can score from three-point range and connects at the free throw line and around the glass. She’s a physical player inside and rebounds and looks to contest shots. Wade is scrappy and her defensive effort can lead to fast-break opportunities for herself and her teammates. A player who does a bit of everything well.
Dani Winslow, 6’1, G/F, 2020, Olathe South
An elite athlete with terrific size, speed and elite awareness. The Missouri State signee has is a terrific two-way player who can connect from 3-point range and block shots and then go coast-to-coast. Winslow hustles when nobody is watching. She sets a tone for her team and she demands a high level of play from herself. A high-percentage scorer who is both aggressive and competitive. She plays an unselfish game but can still make impressive plays for herself.
