#12 Greeneview vs #7 Greenon 12:00- This should be an exciting game between two Ohio Heritage Conference rivals. This will be the rubbermatch as they split a pair of games this season. Greeneview is led by the Dayton area’s top D3 player, 5-11 senior Sylvie Sonneman (18.4 pts, 6.4 reb, 2.7 stl) who is headed to Baldwin Wallace. Also with Sonneman the Rams have junior Rachel Strickle who is a solid guard averaging close to nine. Senior Faith Rutherford is close behind at 7. Greenon won their conference title with an exciting season-finale victory, and will have 5-6 sharpshooter Reagan Ware (pictured) leading the way (12.3 pts, 3 ast, 3.6 stl). Joining Ware in their attack is senior guard Delaney Benedict, known through the state for her skills on the track, and averaging 11 points and 5 rebounds. Freshman Claire Henry is rising quickly, and senior sharpshooter Sierra Potter can cause problems from the perimeter. The winner will get #8 Madison who took a bye, and brings in Miami-Middletown signee Kenzi Saunders, one of the area’s top senior guards.
#19 Miami Valley School vs #3 Versailles 1:30- Despite a rough year for Miami Valley as a team, sophomore guard Katie Campbell has been a bright light. She is among the MBC scorers at 14.7 with 8.5 rebounds and is third in the conference with 3.3 steals. The offense goes through Campbell and she will be the focus of an intense Versailles defense. The Tigers are senior loaded with top players, including University of Dayton volleyball recruit Lindsey Winner, a 6-2 post. Also in the paint is 6-3 senior Brooke Stonebraker, one of the most improved players. Senior guards Caitlin McEldowney and Danielle Kunk are both experienced veterans in the backcourt, and both can score and distribute the ball. This winner will get Dayton Christian in round two, who took a bye.
#1 Anna vs #20 Meadowdale 3:00- Anna has a pretty good chance to advance to the sectional finals, opening with #20 Meadwodale and then #21 Northridge. Anna has a lot of weapons and it starts with junior guard Ella Doseck, a good leader and scorer from the perimeter. Lauren Barhorst is a 6-2 senior post who can create in the paint and defend, while Kiplyn Rowland is also capable of scoring and creating plays. The winner gets Northridge.

#11 National Trail vs #10 Miami East 7:30- These two teams won’t need any introductions. The Cross County Conference foes meet for the second time this season, with Trail getting the win earlier in the season. Trail is led by guard Makena Laird, a 5-8 senior who is a good floor leader, moves well to create offense, and can drain the three. Camryn Miller is a senior shooter for Miami East, and has unlimited range. Paxton Hunley is also a talented sophomore who can create and score.
