2020 5-9 G Antalazia Baker – Johnson-Savannah
The heavy favorite in Class 3A showed no signs of mercy against Fannin County, romping their way to a 92-45 win. Antalazia Baker did a little bit of everything and collected a triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals. On the season she is averaging 11.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.6 steals.
2022 6-1 F Amani Hamilton – Johnson-Savannah
Its not often that a team sees two players record triple-doubles in the same game, but at this time of year, its commonplace for the Atomsmashers. Amani Hamilton‘s breakout season continued with 15 points, 15 rebounds and 15 blocks. The dynamic young player is averaging 11.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.7 blocks for Johnson-Savannah.
2020 5-11 G Terren Ward – Wayne County
Wayne County got rolled over by No. 1 Buford 76-49 but Terren Ward still proved that she may have been the best player on the floor. The big guard is skilled and plays at her own pace. With offers from Georgia Southern and Alabama A&M already in hand, Ward poured in 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 4 blocks.
2020 6-0 F Zoesha Smith – Glynn Academy – UGA
The athletic freak posted 40 points and 15 rebounds in a career-night against Sequoyah, advancing the Terrors to the Elite Eight. Smith was automatic in the paint on unstoppable on the glass. Smith has been on role since winning GACA Junior All-Star Game MVP last March.
2021 5-10 W Alexa Geary – Sonoraville
Sonoraville has the unfortunate task of hosting Johnson-Savannah in the next round, but they will enter with confidence after blitzing Jackson 81-63. With homecourt advantage, the Phoenix will try to make things interesting and could do so if Alexa Geary stays hot. The big wing drilled five three-pointers and poured in 32 points to pace Sonoraville.
2021 5-11 F Keyarah Berry – Rockmart
Keyarah Berry is a staple on our nightly top performers list. Seeing a small step up in competition, Berry let East Laurens feel her wrath as the Yellow Jackets stung for a 64-58 win. Berry pummeled the Falcons with 41 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks.
