First Team
What a first season it was for Kylie Chavis. As a freshman, she averaged 16 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Hidalgo knocked down 29 three’s and showed a tremendous ability to score down low. Purnell Swett has a star for the next three years with Chavis running the show.
Amore’ Kirkland (2022) | Seventy First: Kirkland scored 11.9 points per game this season. and average a state high of 9.7 assist per game 4th in the nation. She was among the most dynamic players in the district which is why she is worthy of an All-Star bid. Kirkland had the skill set to dominate on the perimeter and she took advantage of it whenever she could.
Mia Giles – Jones 2023 | Bulldogs: Therien was one of the top players in the District with a team-leading 14.4 points per game. She was the No. 1 option on a Bulldogs team that finished 29-1 this season. She did most of her work down low and was able to draw contact and get to the line.
Dai’ja Turner (2021) | Knights: Turner was extremely well-rounded this season. She scored 14.6 points and grabbed 5.5 rebounds, and 6 blocks per contest. Turner proved to be a rim protector on the defensive end as well. Topping the state in the most blocks in one season.
Faith Francis (2020) | Westover: Francis was a great athlete when on the floor. She scored 11.5 points and grabbed 4.1 rebounds per game this season while leading WestOver to 20 wins.
Patience Ward (2020) | East Bladen: Ward was a force on the court this season. She averaged 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game as a junior. She was also among the team’s leaders in assists and steals. Ward was the catalyst of East Bladen offense this season.
