Class of 2022: Wing Prospects
6’2 SF Drea Brumfield Drea Brumfield 6'2" | SF WF West | 2022 State #72 Nation WA (WF West HS) – A versatile weapon that can play some guard, wing or forward. A mismatch for many players to defend. She is one of the more skilled players of the class and dedicates herself to the game. A true high major prospect in the sophomore class!
6’1 SF Avery Watkins Avery Watkins 6'1" | SF Kennedy Catholic | 2022 State WA (Kennedy Catholic HS) – One of the best pure athletes in the state. Watkins can defend 2 guards, wings and some posts fairly well. She elevates exceptionally well on her short to mid range pull up and she is a put back threat on the offensive boards. Watkins has a real shot at playing at the high major level with continued progression on her offensive skill set.
5’11 SF Zahirah Walton Zahirah Walton 5'11" | SG Kentlake | 2022 State WA (Eastside Catholic HS) – Another high level athlete and she possesses a real natural offensive skill set. Walton is smooth with the ball in her hands and she is dynamite in transition. Several Division 1 schools are tracking her progress and it will not be too long before she is piling with offers.
5’11 SF Tatum Thompson Tatum Thompson 6'0" | SF Woodinville | 2022 State WA (Woodinville HS) – A brand new prospect to the rankings, but she can play! Thompson had some very impressive performances this season. She can hit the mid range, three ball or drive to the hoop and finish with some athleticism. She is a high level rebounder and has great length for defending multiple positions. In due time, she could very well find herself in the top 10 for the class. *Feature image
6’0 SF Naomi Hall Naomi Hall 6'0" | PF Kentridge | 2022 State WA -Schiffner (Kentridge HS) – Good size and strength at the wing position with the ability to knock down the three pointer. Hall-Schiffner is being tracked by some Division 1 schools and stepped up in her role this high school season. Continued expansion of her game off the bounce and ability to defend quicker guards will be key in deciphering her level of recruitment.
6’0 SF Jadyn Watts Jadyn Watts 6'0" | SF West Seattle | 2022 State WA (West Seattle HS) – One of the highest upsides out of any player in the class. Watt’s has professional level DNA from both sides of her family and has been blessed with an ideal Division 1 frame. Her shooting form is silky smooth and she is comfortable in catch and shoot situations. Watts’ continued game playing experience and ability to put it all together is something to track, because her potential is very high.
5’10 SF Mckenna Reggear Mckenna Reggear 5'10" | SF Colville | 2022 State WA (Colville HS) – Quite possibly the most scrappy and physically tough players on this list. Reggear is an all out, all the time, type of player. She is good in catch and shoot situations and a knock down free throw shooter. Some lower level Division 1 schools have shown interest.
5’10 SF Alicia Suggs Alicia Suggs 5'10" | SF Mead | 2022 State WA (Mead HS) – A strong and physical small forward that can play some on the inside and outside. She is solid in the transition game and pretty versatile on both sides of the ball. This upcoming Summer will be huge in her recruitment.
5’10 SF Jada Walters Jada Walters 5'11" | SF Garfield | 2022 State WA (Bothell HS) – A player that willed her way into the rankings with an outstanding high school season. She displayed raw athleticism and ability this past Summer, but her skill set is progressing along to match her athleticism. A stock riser this Winter!
6’0 SF Camryn Cartwright Camryn Cartwright 6'0" | SF Chiawana | 2022 State WA (Chiawana HS) – A skilled wing prospect with smooth shooting form and some versatility on the defensive end. Cartwright had some bright moments this high school season and will want to have more of those this Summer to solidify her level of recruitment.
5’10 SF Ialissa Fredrickson Ialissa Fredrickson 5'10" | SF Auburn | 2022 State WA (Hazen HS) – A player that showed a lot of improvement from a season ago. She upped her averages points, rebounds, steals and blocks, nearly doubling her production in each category from a year ago. Fredrickson has a good motor and competes on both sides of the ball.
5’10 SF Jaiden Bea Jaiden Bea 5'10" | SF Washougal | 2022 State WA (Washougal HS) – A player that solidified herself as a legitimate college prospect this Winter. I was impressed with her when I saw her last Summer, but she turned up her level of aggression this high school season. A wing player capable of putting up 20-10 type numbers. She is skilled and plays the game the right way. She could easily be higher in the rankings and will be if she continues to progress at the same rate.
5’9 SF/SG Savea Mansfield Savea Mansfield 5'9" | SG Washougal | 2022 State WA (Washougal HS) – Capable of playing the two or three quite comfortably. Mansfield is a quality slasher and finisher in the paint. She also had a strong season for Washougal and is another player that should be on some college’s radars.
5’11 SF Colbi Zorich Colbi Zorich 5'11" | SF Inglemoor | 2022 State WA (Inglemoor HS) – A hard working wing player that put together a solid sophomore season for a quality Inglemoor team. She improved in her points, rebounds, assists and steals from a season ago. Zorich is capable of doing a little bit of everything on the floor and will be able to help a college program down the road.
5’9 SF/SG Torree Thomas Torree Thomas 5'9" | SF Fife | 2022 State WA (Fife HS) – A player that is able and willing to compete with any other wing in the state. Thomas is a tough defender and has done a quality job when matched up against highly recruited prospects in the same class. She brings versatility to the wing and backcourt.
