OKC area standouts Fatima Black and Trinity Gooden Trinity Gooden 5'11" | SG Choctaw | 2021 State OK (Choctaw) are among those we like.
Black has been quite impressive this season on the OKC metro basketball scene and her future looks great as well, a player that shines with her 3 point shots, post shots, and assist game, she is the ultimate team player because of her unselfish play with the ball and always looks to score when she can. 12 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists per game for Black. Against Edmond Santa Fe, scored 17 points, had 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. This summer Fatima will be playing for Oklahoma Swish 17u – Coach Pogi, and plans to improve on her ball handling, toughness, and being a leader.
Tulsa metro standout from the Coweta Tigers, Brice is a great looking player on the drive and mid range game matches with outstanding skills. You can also notice her style of play is that of a slasher and a playmaker making her a fine looking player in the ranks. Averaged 16.8 ppg, 5.3 apg., 1.8 steals and 7.6 rpg. Had her best game was against Pryor with 29 points, 5 Assists, and 6 Rebounds. Will be playing for OK PWP. This summer she hopes to improve on her dribbling and being more aggressive on defense and offense.
Duncan has been one of the most impressive players we have seen this year, with her top 3 scoring games this season were 41,33,28 big time!! Currently playing for AJ Hawkins and Unity Basketball, is continuing to improve her ball handling skills and finishing strong at the rim. Her strongest strength as a player is spot up shooting behind the 3 point line. With playing point guard most of this season she has improved her ball handling skills and dealing with pressure.
Huge mismatch with her size at a guard position. She prefers to play fast and aggressive but it’s also a goal of hers is to be able to play sets as well. Top stat averages ~ beginning of the season Gooden was averaging pretty low scoring wise around 10-11 per game but later when she found my shot, she was averaging around 20-23 per game, 7 rpg. and 5 assists per game. Her best game of the season was 28 against Norman North. This summer she will be continuing with Nike Proskills EYBL 17U out of Texas. Her goals are to work on shot consistency, creativity, and play making ability along with getting stronger over the summer.
Coming off a great Freshman season stats in class 6A for Edmond North, Steele ended with 12.2 PPG ; 7.8 rbs and FT – 84.4%. Ranked nationally in the class of 2023, Steele is no stranger to being the best player on the court. Lets not forget to mention that she is a perfect 4.0 student as well in the classroom. In the class of 23 in Oklahoma, Steele is a watch out for type player for sure.
