Lake Washington Kangaroos finished their 2019-20 season with the record of 19-6 before entering the state tournament, in order to be playing in today’s matchup they won 57-40 against Hudson’s Bay yesterday afternoon. Lake Washington is ranked 6th in the state tournament this year and their underclass core is looking forward to another victory.
Standout freshman Sydney Hani Sydney Hani 6'1" | SF Lake Washington | 2023 State WA can score inside and out, and runs the floor really well. Sophomore Elise Hani Elise Hani 6'4" | C Lake Washington | 2022 State WA who stands at 6-foot-4 protects the rim at all costs and blocks all shots. Lastly, sophomore guard Rosa Smith Rosa Smith 5'7" | PG Lake Washington | 2022 State WA is a great ball handler with great IQ ultimately she is critical to the Kangaroos success.
Mt. Spokane finished their 2019-20 season with an 19-3 record before entering the state tournament, ranking 4th in this year’s state tournament the Wildcats earned themselves a first-round bye following their 78-49 win against Shorecrest.
