Class of 22 teammate of Potts, Saniah Tyler also has two more seasons left to expand on a great start to her career.
The Bears go to scorer for the 2019-20 season was Scherzinger, a class of 21 player that was a top scorer in the MWAA and a player that has a bright senior season ahead. IN 28 games Hannah averaged 18.4 ppg, and shot 47.2% from the floor on 183-of-388 shooting. Also made a team-best 40 treys on the season and prove the is one to know in the league.
The spark from the guard play for the Red Knights, only a super sophomore and class of 22, Tyler has all the skills to be a prime time player with two long years left to add to her totals. Tyler is a dynamic play maker that averaged 11.8 ppg. in 31 games and was third in the Red Knights with 34 three pointers. Had a 25 point game with 6 treys vs. Whitfield and 24 pts in tournament action vs. St. Joseph Central from West Virginia. Had a season-high 8 assists vs. St. Charles West and Visitation.
The Chargers really have a great defender with some amazing hands and footwork in this class of 2021 guard that racked up 98 steals on the season. Not only an amazing defender but a more that capable go to scorer for the Chargers, netted 24 vs. Whitfield. Had seven steals in three games on the season and averaged 3.38 per contest. Really can do it all, impressive 5.1 rebounds per game for the 5-6 guard as well who started the season with back-to-back 10 rebound games.
There are several very good players dishing the ball out in the MWAA, but not many in the class of 23 showing the court vision and maturity of the game like freshman Vivette Lucie Schwartz was able to in her first season of high school ball. Also proved she could score with 6 double digit games and a 18 point outing vs. Parkway South.
Its great to see young players really making huge impacts immediately and 6-2 Natalie Potts Natalie Potts 6'2" | PF Incarnate Word | 2023 State MO of Incarnate Word has made a name for herself already for Incarnate Word and has all the makings of being one of the next low post super starts in the St. Louis Metro. Overall leader in the MWAA with a whopping 65 block shots. 257 rebounds (second most in the league) also showed just how tough on the boards she could be and 8.3 ppg. was impressive in a very tough league to play in as well.
