Dynastee White Dynastee White 5'8" | SF Butler | 2021 State KY – Butler – 5’8” – SG – 26th in KY (3rd in Louisville Area)
Dynastee makes the biggest jump from not ranked to 26th in the state. Dynastee averaged 12.6 ppg and 5.8 rpg this past season. The 5’8” guard has one of the quickest first steps in Kentucky. She has worked hard on her jump shot which makes defenders have to honor her shooting ability. Once she gets by defenders, she has the ability to take contact and finish in traffic with either hand. She usually has the ball in her hands in the closing seconds of a close game. Dynastee has iced or won the game numerous times from the free throw line. With Butler returning so much talent next year, look for Dynastee to move up in the rankings as a Senior. She currently has no college offers, but has had several D1 schools contact and come to watch her play.
Anna GraceMcDaniel – Eastern – 5’9” – SG – 52nd in KY (6th in Louisville Area)
Anna is one the top outside shooters in the Louisville Area. She shot 42% from outside the arc while averaging 10.2 ppg. Having a teammate like Marissa Gasaway Marissa Gasaway 6'0" | PF Silver Creek | 2021 State IN on the inside next year will mean more looks from the outside for Anna. The 5’6” guard needs to get to the free throw a little more because she shoots 85% from the charity stripe.
Taylor Price Taylor Price 5'10" | PF Central | 2021 State KY – Central – 5’11” – F – 59th in KY (7th in Louisville Area)
Taylor has been one of the team leaders at Central High School for the past three seasons. She has great size and uses her body well to score around the basket. She has improved her outside shooting, including from behind the arc. Central plays a tough schedule in the 7th Region and they were in a lot of big time games, but just came up short. Central is young and talented and with Taylor back for another year can only mean good things for this program.
Destiny Thompson Destiny Thompson 5'5" | CG Iroquois | 2021 State KY – Iroquois – 5’7” – SG – 65th in KY (8th in Louisville Area)
Destiny is a dynamic scorer. She averaged 16.5 ppg and 5.5 rpg as a Junior at Iroquois High School. Consistency is the big word to make Destiny an elite player. She had 5 games of scoring 25 points or more including a 37 point game and a 34 point game. How she scored in those monster games couldn’t be any more different. She hit 7 of 11 3-pointers to get to her 37 points while shooting zero free throws. In her 34 point game, she connected on a couple of 3-pointers, but went to the free throw line 18 times while hitting 12 of them.
Jordan Scroggins Jordan Scroggins 5'7" | SG Pleasure Ridge Park | 2021 State KY – PRP – 5’6” – SG – 70th in KY (10th in Louisville Area)
Jordan has improved her game each year since playing varsity as a Freshman at Holy Cross. She just finished up her Junior year at PRP averaging 9.2 ppg and 3.1 rpg. Her hard work and gym rat mentality is what coaches notice most about her. She is a lockdown defender, but she can also score the basketball. She improved her 3-point percentage from 26% as a Sophomore to 38% as a Junior. She has shot over 70% from the free throw line the last two seasons. With PRP graduating 3 really good seniors, Jordan will become the number one option. Over PRP’s last 5 games, Jordan averaged 14 points per game while connecting on 11 of 24 3-pointers. Any college coach would love her work ethic and her desire to learn and do well.
