Jessica Riepe (2021) | Marlboro
Riepe was the top shooter in the state this season. She knocked down 97 three’s and she did it using a quick release and consistency. She set her season-high late in the year in a win over South Brunswick. She hit seven three’s on her way to 25 points. Riepe will have another season left and opposing defenses will have to game plan to stop her from shooting the ball.
Shani Gerald (2020) | Manchester Regional
Gerald was a force from deep since the beginning of the season. She made six three’s in the season-opener against Pompton Lakes. That jump-started her season. In a midseason victory over Elmwood Park, Gerald hit 10 three’s and finished with 32 points. Gerald shot a high percentage and her teammates looked for her from game’s opening tip.
Abigail Scheidel (2020) | Nutley
Scheidel was a big time scorer for Nutley with 511 points this season. She used the three-point line as a huge boost knocking down 90 of them. Scheidel scored 20 or more points 14 times this season. There was only one game this season where the Nutley star did not make a three-point shot.
Maddie Hartnett Maddie Hartnett 5'8" | SG Chatham | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Chatham
Hartnett was not just one of the best shooters in the state, she made a name for herself as one of the best complete players. Hartnett hit 90 three’s this season. She also made at least one and scored in double-figures in every game this season. Hartnett hit seven three’s in a midseason win over Morris Knolls.
Kelly Andreasen (2021) | Pascack Valley
Andreasen was able to compile three’s in bunches this season. She knocked down 84 three’s on the season which was near the top of the state. She had two separate games where she hit eight three’s. Andreasen will have another season left and she will continue to grow her game.
