Northwest Ohio Key Juniors- Part 6
Olivia Zender, 5-5 Hopewell Loudon
Outstanding three-point shooter and dangerous behind the arc. She also is consistent from the free throw line. Has a good understanding of the game and is a leader both on and off the court. Defensively, she continues to work on her game and takes it serious. Twice this season, Oliver connected on seven three’s in a game and hit over 70 on the season. Also handles the ball well and can play either guard spot.
Kaia Woods Kaia Woods 5'9" | CG Hopewell Loudon | 2020 OH , 5-3 Hopewell Loudon
Unbelievably quick on the court, and a major impact in the transition game. Not only is she lightning quick, she is also a physical player who can play through contact. Extremely knowledgeable of the game, and one of her strongest aspects of the game is her defensive. Can score in transition, finish at the rim and can score with either hand. Has the ability to attack the basket in a 1-on-1 game and her will to win is tremendous. Can take over a game if needed for her team.
MaKayla Elmore, 6-3 Hopewell Loudon
There is nothing that MaKayla can’t do, as she is among the top three juniors in Ohio. She can play any position on the floor, take the ball inside and shoot the from anywhere on the floor. Her best asset to her team is she is a very well schooled offensive player. On pace to do some amazing things at Loudon during her career. MaKayla (pictured above) is a strong rebounder and can draw the foul on the inside allowing her to get to the line, where she is very successful. Great basketball IQ and moves well without the ball.
Amira Freeman, 5-7 Elida
Great floor general for her team, as she runs the offense while being face-guarded often. As the point guard, her ball skills and shooting, vision of the court and knowledge of the game is at a high level. Amira is a true competitor with a great work ethic. She is an athletic guard with a good midrange shot, can finish at the rim and can hit the boards from her guard spot.
Emma Leis, 5-8 Spencerville
Solid on-ball defender, and can guard either a guard or forward, inside or out. Offensively, has a quick shot from the perimeter and can score from beyond the arc, including deep range. Can score with either hand, and has the ability to slash into the paint and score at the rim. Excellent handles, can run the show and has great court vision. Quick hands to cause defensive turnovers, and anticipates well.
