Northwest Ohio Key Sophomores- 2
Kristen Harrah, 5-7 Clyde
Efficient point guard who put together a great season with a lot of honors. As a point guard, she is a strong leader and can run the offense well for her team. Aggressive physical defender who has a nose for the ball. Defensively, she plays good on-ball defense with quick hands which leads to transition chances. Can score from the perimeter and at the rim. High basketball IQ.
Bekah Bowser, 5-5 Metamora Evergreen\
Bekah is a legitimate perimeter threat out beyond the three-point arc. Gets her shot off quickly and was consistent from that range. A multi-sport athlete who sees the floor well with great foot speed and anticipation on defense. Tenacious defender constantly applying pressure to her opposing point guard. Bekah has great stamina and a high motor.
Natalee Perkins, 5-9 Galion
Relatively new to the game, Natalie has improved her game so much in the last three years, and can play inside or step out to beyond the arc. She averaged a double double, and is working to improve her handles to become a more complete player. She continues to become a better post player as she has a nose for the ball and is strong on the boards at both ends.
Tenna Greter, 5-3 Galion
What a pure athlete, and she is also new to the game. She can take defenders off the dribble or a step back three. She has speed and athleticism but will need to develop her left hand to be more of a threat offensively. Great court awareness and can read the play before it happens. Quick defender who can cause havoc. Quickness allows her to get to the rim and score, finishes well. Leave her open and she will bury you from behind the arc.
Kendall Dieringer, 5-4 St. Marys
Offensively, Kendall is a quarterback. She stays calm under pressure and she finishes well around the rim. She studies film regularly and she’s identifying advantageous matchups very well. Defensively, she’s one of the best on-ball defenders, she’s quick and physical. She gives other point guards fits when they’re trying to bring the ball up in a one-on-one situation.
