Cape Notre Dame (22-4) vs Park Hills Central (22-5) at Farmington: Cape Notre Dame advanced with a resounding victory over Ste. Genevieve in the districts. The Bulldogs are led by versatile 6’0″ 2020 guard Lexi Rubel, who averages 12 points a game. Park Hills Central enjoys the full-court pressure with 2021 Lindenwood commit Sophia Horton leading the way along with forward Kaley Kimball. (Prediction: Cape Notre Dame)
Gateway STEM (16-9) vs. Rockwood Summit (25-3) at Northwest Cedar Hill: Gateway features excellent 2021 guard Marshaun Bostic and a solid group of seniors in Amori Dampier-McCloud, Kinnuady Daniels and Kaitlyn Simms. Summit has one of the state’s top post players in 6’3″ 2020 Jasmine Manuel and a pair of good guards in 2021 Raina Bryant and 2020 Jayla McLemore. (Prediction: Rockwood Summit)
Nevada (23-4) vs. Grain Valley (19-7) at Lee’s Summit: Nevada is led by talented 2020 point guard Callie Beshore, along with fellow all-conference performers Alison Bower and Payge Dahmer. Grain Valley scored an impressive victory over Grandview in the district finals with 6’1″ 2023 Gracie Slaughter scoring 35 points to lead the Eagles. (Prediction: Nevada)
Lincoln Prep (16-9) vs. Kearney (26-1) at Liberty: An excellent matchup with 2019 Final Four participant Kearney going up against 2018 Final Four participant Kearney. Lincoln Prep is led by 5’8″ 2020 Amari Conn Amari Conn 5'7" | CG Lincoln Prep | 2020 State MO , who is headed to TCU. Kearney enters the game on a 22-game winning streak. They are led by 5’8″ 2020 Caroline Kennedy, who scored 33 points in the Bulldogs’ victory over Benton in the district finals. (Prediction: Lincoln Prep)
Ladue (22-4) vs. Vashon (15-9) at Parkway West: Both teams feature an excellent 2020 point guard with Ladue having 5’6″ Jordan Peete Jordan Peete 5'6" | CG Ladue | 2020 State MO and Vashon countering with 5’7″ Jaylia Smith. Both teams also have a versatile forward with Ladue featuring 5’10″ 2020 Mia Collins and Vashon led by 5’10″ 2023 Raychel Jones. (Prediction: Ladue)
Incarnate Word Academy (25-4) vs. Warrenton (16-8) at Troy: IWA is seeking its fourth state title in five years and the Red Knights are young and loaded with 2022s Saniah Tyler and Jaiden Bryant and 2023 post players Natalie Potts Natalie Potts 6'2" | PF Incarnate Word | 2023 State MO and Brooke Coffey. (Prediction: Incarnate Word)
Sullivan (24-2) vs. Helias (15-12) at Missouri S&T: Sullivan defeated Union and Rolla to win the championship of a loaded District 9. The Eagles are led by stellar 6’0″ 2020 forward Mallory Shetley Mallory Shetley 6'0" | SF Sullivan | 2020 State MO . Helias defeated and very good Boonville team to get to the sectionals. The Crusaders have a solid group with Kylie Bernskoetter and Lindsey Byars as excellent contributors. (Prediction: Sullivan)
West Plains (27-1) vs. Carl Junction (26-0) at Nixa: Carl Junction continued its undefeated season with a 40-point victory over Webb City in the district finals. They are led by 6’2″ 2020 forward Katie Scott Katie Scott 5'11" | SF Carl Junction | 2020 State MO , who was recently named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Missouri. They face a strong challenge from West Plains. The Zizzers feature 2021 guard MacKenzie Brunson and 2020 forward Cassidy Cunningham. (Prediction: Carl Junction)
